Alliance for the Oceans: Dropson collaborates with Ambiente Europeo on SEALABS project

As part of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) 2023, a prestigious sailing event, Dropson has collaborated in the implementation of SEALABS, a pioneering project of the European Environment Association that focuses on ocean water quality monitoring, in which Dropson participates as a technology partner.

With more than 150 vessels participating in ARC 2023, 25 of them are equipped with the SEALABS kit. This device is an advanced tool for the collection and analysis of seawater samples. It uses electronic sensors to measure various parameters, providing valuable data on water quality during the voyage to St Lucia in the Caribbean.

A Joint Voyage Towards Marine Conservation

This Citizen Science project not only provides crucial information for understanding ocean health, but also reflects Dropson’s commitment to the marine ecosystem.
