Dropson presents its antiscale technology at EFINTEC 2025

The sixth edition of EFINTEC, the Exhibition and Forum for Installation Companies and New Technologies, has once again confirmed its status as the must-attend event for professionals in the installation and energy sectors. Held on October 8–9, 2025, at Fira Barcelona, the fair brought together over 8,000 attendees and nearly 180 exhibitors in a technical and specialized setting focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in building and technical services.

The event welcomed manufacturers, distributors, professional associations, and training institutions, and featured a comprehensive programme of conferences and technical demonstrations. EFINTEC thus reaffirms its role as a key visibility platform for solutions addressing the sector’s current challenges, such as energy optimization, digitalization, and responsible water use.

A new milestone for Dropson’s technical presence

Dropson was present at EFINTEC 2025 with a stand showcasing our next-generation anti-scale solutions, based on EMI (Electro Magnetic Impact) technology. This edition was a key opportunity to strengthen brand visibility and to build closer ties with professional installers, in an environment where solution reliability and ease of integration are becoming more valued than complex or high-maintenance systems.

Our booth received very positive feedback from visitors, with a special emphasis on our new image and stand design. Attendance exceeded previous years, attracting a wide range of professionals: installers, engineers, specifiers, and maintenance companies.

Our technology, 100% manufactured in Spain, was praised for its ability to meet the real challenges of DHW systems: scale prevention, reduced maintenance and improved energy performance. Key aspects such as precise calibration, equipment durability, and Dropson’s technical support stood out in technical conversations throughout the fair.

Energy efficiency in DHW installations

During the event, the Dropson technical team provided detailed explanations of how the EMI technology works. The system transforms dissolved calcium in water into non-adherent aragonite microcrystals, preventing scale build-up in domestic hot water (DHW) circuits, storage tanks, plate heat exchangers, taps, and terminal fittings.

Unlike chemical treatments, EMI technology does not alter the water composition, preserves essential minerals, and requires no salt, no maintenance, and no regeneration. Each device is factory-calibrated to match the flow rate and water hardness, ensuring constant performance in both residential and commercial settings.

This allows for seamless integration in scenarios requiring continuous service, such as open-loop, semi-open or recirculating systems, while minimizing technical and operational impact.

Reinforcing our commitment to the professional sector

Dropson’s participation in EFINTEC 2025 has strengthened our position as specialists in physical water treatment. The direct contact with professionals, real-world case analysis, and the interest in our solutions highlight the importance of continuing to invest in technological innovation and «Made in Spain» quality.

We thank all visitors, partners, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of this edition. We remain committed to delivering sustainable, efficient solutions aligned with the sector’s most pressing challenges.
