Cold water and sanitary hot water

The challenges of energy

The energy costs are continuously increasing and are challenging company profitability. Over consumption, hot water production downtime and breakdowns all have one point in common: limescale

Water and energy bill

The variable of the energetic equation still remains the quality of the water feed. 3 mm of limescale between the heat exchange system and the water will result in a 30% increase in energy consumption. The quality of the feed water negatively affects the thermal exchange systems, as well as increasing the energy costs.

Controlling the expenses

Dropson guarantees energy savings. It avoids calcareous incrustation in the heat exchange elements and maintains peak and continuous performance of the installation. Dropson directly affects the energy consumption, ensuring the optimal conditions of thermal exchange between the primary and secondary circuits.

Minimize production stoppage

Dropson increases the service life of the different elements sensitive to limescale. Dropson limits maintenance costs, dismantling, and unforeseen repairs. It does not produce any kind of salt waste as those generated by traditional water softeners that assist the increase of corrosion in the installations.

Minimize the sanitary risks

Dropson avoids calcareous scale and dissolves existing lime deposits in the installation. This reduction of the lime deposits has a direct impact on the prevention of Legionnaire’s disease, as it gradually reduces its biotope.

Traditional water softeners require a thorough maintenance and regular disinfection of the resin tanks in order to avoid bacteria proliferation.

Dropson does not require sanitary maintenance, does not use any kind of resins and its treatment cell is 316L stainless steel, in compliance with foodgrade regulations.
